CREAMTRAIN (TRENO DI PANNA)
Giovanni, a young Milanese photographer, arrives in Los Angeles. He’s filled with fantasies and attractions, and doesn’t know what he’s actually looking for. He works as a waiter in a restaurant, then finds a job teaching Italian in a Bel Air language school. One of her students turns out to be Marsha Mellows, the famous movie star he’s always loved. My first published novel, the one that was discovered by Italo Calvino, who wrote an introduction for it.
